Man allegedly ran from Hackettstown Honda early Saturday morning.
An alleged burglar is still on the loose after two cars were broken into at the Hackettstown Honda dealership early Saturday morning, Washington Township Police said.
Officer Robert Brobst was patrolling the business at 12:43 a.m. when he observed a U-Haul truck parked in the rear of the building with no lights on, Lt. Doug Compton said.
Brobst then noticed a 2012 Honda Accord with its driver's side window broken out and parts of the vehicle strewn about on the ground, Compton said.

One of Washington Township's newest businesses is on the verge of opening this spring, as finishing touches are being put on the new Hackettstown Honda at 48 Route 46.
The campus construction, being overseen by site superintendent Steve Kanuch of REDCO Engineering, includes a main building of 37,095 square feet. The two-story building has business offices, showroom, car wash and 20-car service section.
Kanuch expects the project to be complete before spring is over.

WASHINGTON TWP. - A Brooklyn company intends to open a Honda dealership just down the block from the Hackettstown Hyundai on Route 46.
On Monday, Oct. 11, the Planning Board accepted the application by Bay Ridge Motor Sales to build a 40,431 square-foot showroom and service facility at 48 Route 46 West.
The new "Hackettstown Honda" dealership will nestle on a 13.55 acre parcel between Greybar Electric Supply and the entrance drive to Target.

The construction of the Hackettstown Honda dealership along Rt. 46 West in Washington Township is coming along nicely, according to the project's site supervisor.
Steve Kanuch of REDCO Engineering and Construction Corp. expects that the new dealership will be ready for business in mid-2012, as his crew looks to complete the project sometime in the spring.
